I have always been fascinated by computers. A little less so now, when they are as common as rocks.I was in the pioneer generation of microcomputers. I made my living as a software contractor from 1979 through 1996.
An 18th century lifestyle, I love the clothing & the skills & the everyday 18th century items. My wife & I lived an 18th century lifestyle for 20 years, & raised 3 fine sons in that time. We are still living off grid, but we have solar power electricity now & a fridge/freezer. However, if we had to, we could go back to having no electricity, even though it means more work in food preserving & clothes washing.
